About Mark Lincoln
During my 9 to 5, I’m a Digital Media Team Leader for one of New Zealand’s largest and most successful motor groups, responsible for the websites, Social Media channels, and email marketing of a number of franchise and independent vehicle dealerships and service centres. Ultimately, this means I get to play with some awesome new cars from the likes of Toyota, Lexus, Volkswagen, ŠKODA, Nissan, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and more, all while pursing my other passion for online media.
I’m lucky enough to have had a pretty fulfilling career so far, and one that has taken me from sales into marketing and then more specifically into digital marketing. I love putting my skills in SEO, web development and design, email marketing, and Social Media community management into practice and I’m constantly reading blogs and articles to further help me keep abreast in this ever-changing space.

Outside of work, I … well I do similar stuff to the above but generally with less time constraints! I’m happily married, have an awesome son, own a house in Christchurch, and one day I hope to teach my German Shepherd to chill out and stop attacking me.
About this site
This blog is an avenue for me to share some knowledge in digital media, and also to share some stuff that I find interesting in relation to either web or the automotive industry (from a digital media perspective).
I also operate another blog by the name of NZ Raw, plus I attempted to start a resource for New Zealand bloggers under the name of NZ Blogs but decided to switch to posting about a wider range of topics more relevant to my work.
